Our History
2006–2009
The laboratory becomes certified by ISTA to test and certify packaging. The business model changes by offering 3rd party testing services.
2013
The laboratory reaches a milestone of completing packaging testing projects for over 300 new customers.
2015
The laboratory becomes a stand-alone business managed by Henry Heil and Tim Willis and is renamed Compadre Labs LLC.
2018
Compadre Labs becomes part of the Amazon Packaging Support and Supplier Network (APASS).
2020
The laboratory is purchased by Henry Heil and Tim Willis and relocated to its current location in Hutto, Texas.
2021
Another large environmental chamber is added, giving the capability to simultaneously condition multiple unitized pallets.
2022
Adds more building space for expanded testing and storage.
2023
Expands cold chain and conditioning capacity with a new cold storage environmental chamber.
2024
Improves testing capacity with new Lansmont Compression System.
2025
Achieves ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation and increases laboratory staff.
